By sourcing many of our ingredients directly from Kiwi suppliers and delivering the produce to you without any detours, we remove steps from the traditional supply chain. This shorter supply chain means we avoid packaging and repackaging along the way.
Plus, we use pre-portioned ingredients for our recipes, which means you also avoid food waste. As a result, your HelloFresh meals create 25%* fewer carbon emissions than the same meals made from supermarket ingredients. When food waste goes to landfill, it impacts the climate by producing greenhouse gases. We buy ingredients based on your order, pre-portioned to the gram. So you are cutting food waste by up to 21% with every HelloFresh meal.

Auckland balances nature and metropolis with characteristic Kiwi ease. Skyscrapers taper out to beaches and mountains, where city dwellers trek up volcanic peaks or set sail to the wineries of Waiheke Island. Māori and European cultures coexist as increasing immigration brings Polynesian and Asian influences.
Waitemata Harbour provides a stunning backdrop for seaside walks. Known as Tāmaki Makaurau in Māori, New Zealand’s biggest city is also its entertainment capital. Museums, farmers’ markets, vintage shops, and leafy parks create an urban lifestyle that makes its inhabitants happy. Even through visitor’s eyes, it’s not hard to see why.

We spend a third of our lives sleeping, but do any of us really understand the process? Is there any point in sleep study or sleep tracking, or is it fine to close our eyes and drift into that sweet slumber?
The short answer is yes. Understanding sleep goes beyond knowing the benefits that come with a good night’s sleep. Just so you know, quality of sleep allows you to create a solid sleep schedule, maximises your time throughout the day and, most importantly, gives you enough sleep for the next day. Sleep comes in different cycles and different stages. Each one of them has distinct and particular characteristics that affect our brain activity, body temperature and many other things.

People have been using aloe vera for a long time: Its earliest recorded use dates back some 6,000 years ago, during the time of the pharaohs. The ancient Egyptians called it the “plant of eternity” and used it in skin care and medicine – even embalming. The ancient Chinese used aloe vera to treat various ailments, while the ancient Japanese valued it as an elixir and as a potent pain reliever.
Today, aloe vera is known for its wide range of medicinal properties and applications. It’s still a highly valuable and effective product, especially when it comes to skin and hair care. Research suggests that aloe vera contains many natural compounds that do wonders for both. Here are just some of the surprising benefits for your skin and hair that you can expect from using aloe vera.

If you think eating healthy is boring and bland, you’ve not learned the incredible, palate-pleasing wonders of a whole-foods diet. But what are whole foods? Pure and unprocessed, whole foods include luscious fruits, nutritious and vibrantly-hued vegetables, hearty and wholesome legumes, snackable seeds, and more.
"Whole" does not mean you can’t cook these vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, and grains, or chop them, puree them, or combine them with other foods. Rather, it means you buy (or grow and harvest) the items whole, without chemical preservatives, colors, and other additives. In your own home, you can cut, peel, or otherwise process them during preparation or cooking, as you wish. But they remain pure, whole, and natural — and if possible, grown organically. We do recommend you avoid making homemade versions of junk foods, like potato chips, if you want the benefits of eating a whole foods diet.

In today’s world it’s common for people to be concerned they’re not getting enough vitamin D or probiotics, but the nutrients that should be getting the most attention for supplementation are the right kinds of zinc and B12. It’s these two nutrients that people are most commonly deficient in and that pose the greatest threats to our health when we are deficient.
Essential For Everyone
With a severe zinc deficiency, you can become gravely ill. Zinc is critical for liver health, autoimmune conditions, acne, adrenal problems, arthritis, cancer, eczema, psoriasis, brain fog, child and baby liver (the name I have given to a certain set of health challenges many babies and children suffer with, diabetes, fatigue, mood struggles, gout, heart palpitations, hepatitis, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, hot flashes, inflammation, migraines, SIBO, sinus infections, weight issues, vertigo, tinnitus, multiple sclerosis, lupus, Lyme disease, thyroid problems, Epstein-Barr virus, shingles, UTIs, candida, and every other symptom and condition that exists. If you have a symptom of any kind or you wish to help prevent symptoms in the future, it’s time to make zinc your best friend.

Symptoms of liver toxicity are not always easy to pinpoint. Many conditions associated with an overloaded liver are concerns that can arise from a number of causes. Although some conditions, such as fatigue or irritability are often just part of life, and not necessarily the result of liver deficiencies, ignoring pervasive health conditions is never advised.
Instead, we should view health concerns as weeds to be removed. Often times, ailments resulting from imbalances and toxicity within the body spring up in multiple ways and appeasing deficiencies can help to alleviate them at the source.

When you feel her calming energy, you would never guess Kata went through a crippling car accident that left her in constant pain. At the time, the damage to her neck and spine was so severe, her doctors started preparing her for multiple surgeries. They told her she’d be in a neck brace for the rest of her life.
But today, Kata is living pain free. Her spine is long and relaxed, and she has full range of motion in her neck. And she did it without surgery. Instead of going under the knife, Kata turned to yoga. This 5,000-plus-year-old pursuit not only repaired the damage to the curve of her spine and freed her of pain, it changed her life.
Within months, Kata, a former accountant, became an optimist again. Yoga also gave her sharper mental focus, the skill to better handle everyday challenges, and the ability to respond to life in "a more joyful way," as she puts it.
